R. Matthew Frank

R. Matthew Frank (Matt) has enjoyed being an accountant with Frank & Company for over ten years. As a Certified Public Accountant and Manager with the firm, he is primarily responsible for servicing our not-for-profit tax clients. Supporting the programs of the organizations and helping them achieve their goals has been a rewarding experience for him. In addition to his not-for-profit experience, Matt has experience in tax, audit, accounting, consulting, and other financial services to a diverse group of individuals, government contractors, and small and medium sized entities.

To facilitate his client’s international tax and assurance needs he has worked closely with the Geneva Group International (GGI) and their member firms. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA). As a proud alumnus of George Mason University, it is always a pleasure for him to return to campus and participate on the GMU Accounting Advisory Council.

His financial expertise and support of the local community earned Matt the honor of being named one of Northern Virginia’s Top Financial Professionals for 2014 by Northern Virginia Magazine. http://www.northernvirginiamag.com/top-financial-professionals-2014.  He was previously nominated for one of Virginia’s Top 5 Under 35 CPA Awards which recognizes young CPA professionals for notable professional achievement and dedication to the CPA profession.

While he loves traveling to distant places, Matt has spent his life in the Washington, DC area, growing up in McLean and currently resides in Tysons. He is an active participant with his weekly church groups, an avid runner, and prefers to be on a golf course when out of the office.
